Private Function Terms and Conditions

1. A private function is not considered to be confirmed unless payment is received in full.
2. Payment must be received 14 days prior to the scheduled event for the function to be confirmed.
    A function that is considered to be unconfirmed will not proceed and will not be scheduled to proceed.
3. If a function payment is received prior to 14 days before the scheduled event, and the event is cancelled
    by the purchaser, then the cinema shall deduct a 20% cancellation fee from the payment.
4. If a function is cancelled by the purchaser within 14 days of the scheduled event then no refunds will be
    given to the purchaser. The purchaser shall not be entitled to a refund or exchange of any kind.
5. The purchaser shall not on-sell or giveaway / re-assign the function to any other party without the
    permission of the cinema.
6. The purchaser and guests shall not bring outside food or drink onto the premises.
7. The purchaser shall inform all of their guests about our Conditions of Entry and Responsible Service of Alcohol policy.
8. The purchaser shall inform the cinema if any of the guests are under the age of 18. The purchaser shall furthermore ensure that
    those guests that are under the age of 18 are supervised by a responsible adult at all times while on the premises.
9. The purchaser shall perform the role of Guest Coordinator. This role requires that all of the invited guests are informed
    of the itinerary for the event, as well as the Conditions of Entry and Responsible Service of Alcohol policy.
    It is a condition that the purchaser perform this role, or it must be assigned to another person attending the function.
    The cinema must be informed if the purchaser is assigning the role to another person at least 2 days prior to the event,
    and must be informed of the name and mobile phone number of that nominated person.
10.Payment for catering must be paid for on the day of the event.
11.Any interruption to the event due to mechanical or electrical failure will not give rise to a refund of any kind.
    However, if the feature film is interrupted for a period of more than 30 minutes, the duty supervisor may provide breakdown
    passes to guests or some other form of compensation at their discretion.
12.It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure that guests arrive on time for all aspects of the event, including pre-show catering
    as well as the feature film. If guests arrive late we cannot provide additional catering or delay the start of the feature film.
