Functions at Blue Room Cinebar are a popular way to entertain corporate clients and guests, fundraising groups, social clubs or friends and family. Blue Room Cinebar offers a choice of 3 Premium Lounge Cinemas for exclusive hire day or night.
Choose from a 24, 36 or 60 seat auditorium, equipped with 35mm film projection, Dolby sound, HD digital projector for satellite feeds and in our larger cinema Blu Ray DVD.
SCREENING TIMES
Morning screenings generally start between 10:00am and 11:00am
Afternoon screenings between 12:30pm and 2:00pm
Evening screenings either 6-6:30pm or later in the evening at 9:00pm-9:30pm (depending on the length of the feature film).
CATERING
At Blue Room Cinebar we also offer an array of delicious catering options to suit your needs and budget, choose from pre-screening catering, in-cinema meals and beverage service or terrace dining before or after the show. We only offer the highest quality and freshness of food. From hand-made spring rolls and steamed dumplings to gourmet cheese platters and dips and if you want something more substantial then we offer fresh and flavoursome Thai or Indian cuisine. We also have scrumptious desserts and cocktails-we are happy to work with you to create your perfect event. The Blue Room Cinebar offers you and your guests an experience they won't forget. LICENSED CINEMAS AND BAR
Our entire venue including all cinemas are licensed and the bar stocks only the best selection of beers, red, white, champagne & sparkling wines as well as basic and top shelf spirits and tantaslising cocktails. Most function holders choose to run a bar tab or you can choose from one of our drinks packages.
PAYMENT TERMS
All functions need to be confirmed and paid in full 14 days prior to the event. Payment can be made via direct deposit, credit card over the phone or business cheque. To ensure that your event runs as smoothly as possible, final numbers and catering options are required no later than 4 days prior to your event. Changes to the booking after this time must be approved by the Events Manager and may incur a fee. Tax invoices are provided as well as terms and conditions which need to be signed and returned back either by fax, post or email prior to the event.
THE SPACE
Blue Room Cinebar also offers a private space prior to your event, the foyer area, the Blue Bar balcony area and the side balcony area for no extra cost. The generous foyer and bar area is perfect for functions of 60 people or more and the balcony areas are intimate and can be furnished however you please, we can also offer registration tables, chairs, dry bars, heaters, raffle buckets and signage. And for that little bit extra you can decorate and theme your area or choose the red carpet experience to really feel like a star.
